TOP 8 Things to do in Phuket when it Rains

Some Great Rainy Day Activities in Phuket

Phuket is not all about fun in the sun. When the monsoon sweeps in off the ocean it can rain for days on end, not ideal if your looking to top up your tan. However, if you happen to be in Phuket with your family or friends and it’s pouring with rain there are still heaps of fun things to do rather than sitting in front of the TV or hanging on your laptop. You can try out a cooking calss and learn how to make a delicious red curry or Pad Thai, perhaps take in a ladyboy show ( if you like that sort of thing), or even grab a massage or hit the local yoga studio. Whatever your tastes or budgets, there is always something to do in Phuket, even when the skies turn grey, the seas become rough and the beach is a no go zone.

Pamper yourself with a Massage

If there is one thing you can do in Phuket is get a massage from a day spa. There are hundreds of these allover the island especially in the main tourist areas where you will most likely be staying. For around $20 AUD you can get a fantastic full body massage as well as some extra beauty treatments. This is not just for a girls holiday getaway in Phuket only. Guys love these massages as they are done by professionals that somehow know where each knot in your body is.¬† When it’s pouring outside with rain nothing is better than laying down with soothing music in the back ground and getting your body worked over. Don’t stress about finding a day spa, all you have to do is walk down any street and you will find one.
